　　中国石化新闻网讯 据ICIS网站9月21日报道 壳牌周一表示，公司签署了一份协议，将二叠纪盆地业务以95亿美元现金出售给康菲石油公司。

　　该交易将于2021年第四季度完成。

　　此次出售标志着壳牌退出德克萨斯州的陆上生产，转而更加依赖可再生能源，因为石油巨头面临着投资可再生能源和降低碳排放的压力。

　　壳牌上游董事Wael Sawan表示：“在审查了我们二叠纪资产的多种战略和投资组合选项后，与康菲石油公司的交易成为一项非常引人注目的价值主张。这一决定再次反映了我们对价值大于数量的关注，以及对资本的严格管理。”

　　Shell to sell Permian assets to ConocoPhillips for $9.5bn

　　Shell said on Monday that it signed an agreement for the sale of its Permian Basin business to ConocoPhillips for $9.5bn in cash.

　　The transaction will close in Q4 2021.

　　The sale marks Shell’s withdrawal from onshore production in Texas and into greater reliance on renewable energy as oil majors face pressure to invest in renewable energy and lower carbon emissions.

　　"After reviewing multiple strategies and portfolio options for our Permian assets, this transaction with ConocoPhillips emerged as a very compelling value proposition," said Wael Sawan, Upstream director. "This decision once again reflects our focus on value over volumes as well as disciplined stewardship of capital.”

　　Shell will use the cash proceeds from this transaction to fund $7bn in additional shareholder distributions with the remainder used for further strengthening of the balance sheet, the company said.

　　Shell’s Permian business includes approximately 225,000 net acres with current production of about 175,000 bbl/day.
